TERMS OF SERVICE

Brotherhood Barbershop

Effective Date: January 1st, 2026

By booking an appointment, walking in for service, or otherwise using the services of Brotherhood
Barbershop (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Services

Brotherhood Barbershop provides grooming services including, but not limited to, haircuts, beard
trims, shaves, and related barbering services. All services are provided by trained barbers in
accordance with Alberta health and safety regulations.

2. Appointments & Walk-Ins

  • Appointments are encouraged and can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
  • Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.
  • Appointment times are estimates; slight delays may occur due to service complexity or
    unforeseen circumstances.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • We request at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee or require a deposit
    for future bookings.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals

  • Clients arriving late may receive a shortened service or be asked to reschedule.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled at the barber’s
    discretion.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment is due immediately after service.
  • We accept cash, debit, credit, and other accepted payment methods.
  • Tips are appreciated but not required.

6. Refunds

  • Due to the nature of grooming services, refunds are not provided once a service has been
    completed.
  • If you are dissatisfied, please notify us during or immediately after your service so we may
    address the issue.

7. Health & Safety

  • Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities before
    service.
  • Brotherhood Barbershop reserves the right to refuse service if a condition may pose a
    health or safety risk.
  • We follow all Alberta Health Services sanitation and hygiene requirements.

8. Client Conduct

  • Respectful behavior toward staff and other clients is required.
  • Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or intoxication will not be tolerated.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone for inappropriate behavior.

9. Personal Belongings

Brotherhood Barbershop is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought
into the shop.

10. Minors

  • Services for minors require consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • A parent or guardian may be required to remain present during the service.

11. Photography & Marketing

  • With your consent, photos or videos may be taken for marketing or social media.
  • You may decline being photographed at any time.

12. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brotherhood Barbershop shall not be liable for any injury,
allergic reaction, or adverse result unless caused by proven negligence.

13. Changes to These Terms

Brotherhood Barbershop reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.

The most current version will be available in-store or online.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable
laws of Canada.
